ETCs are related to commodities, commodity indices or futures. ETCs from BNP Paribas Arbitrage Issuance B.V. are collateralised in accordance with German law, are tradable on each exchange trading day and provide all product costs in only one fee.
Collateralised in accordance with German law
The issuer of the ETCs is BNP Paribas Issuance B.V. Amsterdam, Netherlands, a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of BNP Paribas S.A.
For all ETCs the issuer provides collateral for 105% of the outstanding volume in accordance with German law. The securities are held in custody exclusively in Germany. The custodian and trustee is Clearstream Banking AG, a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of Deutsche Börse AG. Clearstream Banking AG monitors the outstanding volume and calls for the necessary amount of collateral. A guarantee for the timely payment of a shortfall is provided through BNP Paribas S.A. Paris, France.
Investors should note that even through collateralisation, the issuer risk cannot be fully mitigated.
Exchange trading on XETRA
The ETCs can be traded on the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on any trading day. Continuous quoting is provided by designated market makers. As with ETFs, a NAV (intrinsic value of the ETC) is published every day.
All product costs in one fee
ETCs from BNP Paribas Arbitrage Issuance B.V. have one management fee, which is displayed on the website. There are no additional fee charges, such as collateral costs. These are already included in the management fee.
